Growing food for our villagers

This year working alongside Duke Of Edinburgh volunteers we created a small community garden at the side of our village centre.

This year, teaming up with the brilliant Duke of Edinburgh volunteers, we turned a patch beside our village centre into a blossoming oasis. We dug, planted, and nurtured tomatoes, onions, and garlic, all while embracing the spirit of recycling, scavenging pots from generous donations and rescuing old garden tools from skips.

Our little garden is proof that with a sprinkle of creativity and a dash of teamwork, even the smallest idea can grow into something vibrant and full of life. It’s not just about the plants it's about cultivating community, hope, and mental wellbeing.
